Our Work

ARM is a three-phase program for men needing recovery from substance abuse. The first phase involves 6 months of intensive inpatient therapy. What is uniquely different about ARM is that during the first 4 months of this process, the men do not work, but focus on individual counseling, group counseling, Bible study, 12-step classes, and participation in the life of the church. Following this period, he may seek employment and complete the final two months of primary care. The client then begins the aftercare phase, focusing on the coming transition into society and independence. Most leave the program with a car and a bank account.
See Primary Care and Aftercare for details on these phases of the program. Intervention is provided for clients who relapse.
