STUDY OPPORTUNITIES
NOOMA (Spirit)
This is an opportunity to stretch your faith in new ways, share in discussions about God’s Word and its application in your life. A six –weeks course that meets weekly to review short 15-minute DVD’s by Rob Bell that challenge our thoughts about God, our personal spiritual walk, and how we as Christians impact the world. Each week is a different DVD addressing a fresh aspect of spirituality.
SHE THAT IS SPIRITUAL
Choose this course if you are ready to go DEEP. Sisters who are seeking ways to increase their ability to read God’s Word and understand it, stretch their prayer life in new ways, make needed changes in their personal lives to make more room for God should join in on this study. Outside reading, study, and homework are required.
PRAYERWALKERS
Evangelism! in a new way. Prayerwalkers is a guide that teaches and inspires us to understand God’s command to share the Good News. The study provides “opportunities” to bless others by learning how to pray as you walk wherever you may go – from walking in your neighborhood to walking the halls of your job. We can invoke God’s presence and power every place that we step.
OUTFLOW
Is your life a vacuum? Are you trying to suck in more for you instead of being a vessel that pours love out? Or perhaps you have a heart to serve, but you’ve grown weary. This study is for you! Outflow challenges us to first be filled so we can have an outflow towards God, our family members and friends, our church family, our community, and the world. Learn some unique ways to experience the fullness of God such that it bubbles over and is an outflow towards others.
WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP
God’s design for women includes their service as leaders. Understanding God’s concept of leadership, however, is key. Those who feel the call or have the desire for servant leadership, this course is for you. For nine weeks we will study Biblical principles for personal preparation to lead, seeking God’s insight on His assignment for you.
QUARTERLY BOOK REVIEW
This year’s focus is the POWER OF PRAYER. We will review a different book each quarter that expands our thinking, knowledge, and practice of prayer. If you have a book you would like to suggest, LET US KNOW!
