Honoring the life of Sis. Rosie Smith
Gwendolyn Thompson-Rosenberg (04.16.2008 @ 12:22:24)
As I was growing up I attended the Metropoltain Minister's Wife meetings with my mother the Late Sis. Lucene Thompson, wife of the Late Pastor L.T. Thompson of Thompson Chapel MBC. I do remember Sis. Smith and what a wonderful Lady she was. It seems as though the ladys of their time (Sis. Smith, my Mother and others) stood for something in the home as well as in the Church. This love is from the Thompson Family, Pastor Alan Thompson, New Redemer BC of Washington, DC, Gwendolyn Thompson- Rosenberg of Richardson, Tx. and Lawrence Thompson Jr of Forney, Tx. Our prayers are with you in this home going of Sis. Smith. Be strong and the Lord will provide peace within your hearts. Gwen Thompson- Rosenberg.

Rev. Smith,Mrs. Smith will always be remembered for the exemplary way she handled the task of being the Pastor's wife. She did so with such dignity and sophistication. She was a wonderful example for all women. May you find strength in your faith, comfort in God's love, and peace in knowing your friends are praying for you and your family during this time.
