Pastor Smith our thoughts and prayers are with you. You have been with us through so many peaks and valleys in our life. We want you to know that we love you and we are thankful for the example of a Godly marriage in the life of our church. God bless you and keep you in this time. We celebrate Sis Smith's Homegoing because we know through God's word and your teaching that she is absent in the body but present with the Lord. We love you!

Rhonda Robertson (04.16.2008 @ 09:11:23)
Rev Smith, I am so sorry for your loss. I thought about all the thousands of lives you've touched over the years. You and Mrs. Smith have affected generations of people. Mrs. Smith was the first patron of my artwork years ago. This remains one of the proudest moments of my life because Mrs. Smith took out the time to encourage an aspiring artist about what it meant to illustrate scripture on canvas. Her words, "I know you can do it, because it's in you," ring in my ears. I will never forget her confidence in me. Her memory will be cherished in my heart as well as so many others. Her life is a celebration. And you sir, will always be in our prayers.

Conya J. Kossie (04.16.2008 @ 08:50:27)

Pastor and Sis. Smith was my role models and mentors growing up in "The Bottom" where a young girl needed such an elegant couple to emulate. I was blessed to have such a lady and gentleman living a few doors down. Sis. Smith was a sweet and soft spoken woman, but had very powerful words to say. I loved her dearly, and will always cherish the wisdom she shared with me when I became a minister's wife.
