Remembering Rev. C.B.T. Smith

Rev. C.B.T. Smith made his transition to glory on Saturday, June 13, 2009.

2 Timothy 4: 7 says,  "I have fought a good fight, I have finished
my course, I have kept the faith."

He ran a good race and is now resting in his new home over in
glory that he always sang about.

We welcome you to share your words of sympathy below.  You may also share how God blessed you though Pastor Smith's presence or words at some moment in your life, or perhaps  share a corporate prayer to God in memory of Pastor Smith.

I am grateful for the opportunity to have been able to start my ministry under such a powerful man. I will forever be thankful to Dr. C. B. T Smith for investing a part of his life into me. My Prayers are with his family, Golden Gate and everyone touched by his homegoing.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. 2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.?*? 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” Revelation 21:1-4

Lew Blackburn, Jr. lew_blackburn@email.com (06.19.2009 @ 01:35:36)
When I was very young, I made a mental list of about 7 or 8 people I most respect. Pastor Smith has always been #1 on that list. His love for God and love to Sis. Smith is an inspiration.

Any kind word or deed I direct toward my wife is simply me following his lead. And my relationship with God will always be traced back to how he led me and my family in our walk with Christ.

Mary "Cookie " Cox mzcookie51@sbcglobal.net (06.18.2009 @ 22:41:36)
