There is no time like the present for people to trust in Christ. Now is the time to speak on His behalf and say, “Come to Christ.” We encourage you to have Christ’s mission on your mind throughout 2007. Would you partner with us as we “wrestle with God in prayer” for the unsaved and the unchurched in our families?
MISSION OF MINISTRY
To equip the Church Family to reach one more person for Christ each year by:
• Praying for unbelievers/unchurched;
• Building relationships with unbelievers/unchurched
• Inviting others to our Church events;
• Sharing the gospel with clarity to willing listeners;
• Living a consistent and contagious Christian life.
HOW THE MINISTRY WORKS
The ministry looks to God, the gift of Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit to spark and ignite the desire and determination of all believers to join in the crusade of becoming a “Contagious Christian.” The curriculum used is designed to help everyday Christians—like the Church Family—to confidently and effectively share their faith with people they know. The ministry emphasizes a relational approach that works over time to bring family members, friends, co-workers, neighbors and others to trust Christ.
MEETING TIME/PLACE
The Contagious Christian Team meets monthly—fourth Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Gate House.

GREAT COMMITMENT

Love the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul and love your neighbor as yourself.
GREAT COMMISSION
Go, therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things, whatsoever I have commanded you, and lo I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
THE GOSPEL
Salvation and eternal life can be yours today. You can be secure in knowing for sure that you’re going to heaven when life on earth is over. God’s WORD promises.
The Problem: You are a sinner. Romans 3:23 tells us, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
The Penalty: The penalty for sin is death. Romans 6:23 tells us, “The wages of sin is death.”
The Provision: Christ died for you. Romans 5:8 tells us, “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
The Promise: You can be saved through faith in Christ. Ephesians 2:8 & 9 tell us, “For by grace (undeserved favor) you have been saved (delivered from sin’s penalty) through faith (trust), and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one should boast.” You must trust Christ alone to forgive you and give you eternal life.
John 5:24 explains, “He who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
