Rev. C.B.T. Smith made his transition to glory on Saturday, June 13, 2009.

2 Timothy 4: 7 says,  "I have fought a good fight, I have finished
my course, I have kept the faith."

He ran a good race and is now resting in his new home over in
glory that he always sang about.

I miss Rev. Smith. He and Sis. Smith were very dear to me and my family. I will remember is sermons, his talks, his sharing, his giving and his committment to the christian faith. He was a wonderful man of God.

Rev. Smith played a major role in our Christian walk, he set a foundation for us that has allowed us to incoroporate in our daily lives. There will never be another like him, so we take pride for the opportunity of having him bring us the preached work. "Our lost is heavens gain".

I just want to say that I thank Pastor Smith and his lovely wife for making me feel that I belong in church at a time when I was young. I just learned about both of their deaths when I visited home last year in Texas. It broke my heart to heart to hear they weren't on this earth any longer, but I was also glad to hear that they were together with the Lord. May God continue to bless their famililies and the congregation. I loved their spirit. God bless us all.

Rev. CBT SMith I just want to say that you always was and is a man of GOD, your teaching, preaching and the way you received everybody you came in contact with will surely be missed. I can hear you now "I know I am right about it" it's right there in the bible. You Rev. Smith will always be in my thoughts you and Sister Smith. Rev. C.B.T. Smith was the true definition of A Man of God! He watched me grow from a baby to a woman and i will truly miss him! He was a blessing to me ad my family. I wont be sad but yet rejoice because he fought the good fight and getting what he deserves. . . . Rest!

I am grateful for the opportunity to have been able to start my ministry under such a powerful man. I will forever be thankful to Dr. C. B. T Smith for investing a part of his life into me. My Prayers are with his family, Golden Gate and everyone touched by his homegoing.

The sheer prescence of Rev. Smith will be. As will his annual visits, his resounding and powerful words, his stories of inspiration and his high spirited and blessed celebratory movements. On my life, a lasting inspiration he has been and will always be.
