Pastor Vincent T. Parker

Vincent T. Parker has been the lead Pastor of Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church for more than 20 years. He views his role as the lead servant. The model of leadership demonstrated by Jesus Christ is one characterized by an attitude of servanthood and self-sacrifice. His mission is to lead by serving others through ministry characterized by love and devotion to God and creative innovation.

Pastor Parker is committed to developing a team ministry approach which allows individuals to exercise their spiritual gifts for the growth and maturity of the body of Christ. He has passion is to reach and disciple men who will then minister to the family, which is the foundation of the local community. His desire is to equip both men and women for ministry to their families, church and community through expository preaching and solid biblical teaching and leadership.

Vincent Parker accepted Christ as his personal Savior at the age of seven. He received his ordination on March 1, 1986 by the Baptist Ministers’ Conference of Washington, D.C. and Vicinity. He has traveled and served abroad in Kenya, Uganda, Egypt, Israel, Ghana and Italy. After moving to Dallas, he studied at and received his Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and is currently a member of the North Texas Regional Convention of the Missionary Baptist General Convention of Texas. He is currently the Dean of the North Texas District Association.

Vincent and his wife Janice Parker are the parents of three beautiful children, Maggie, Moriah, and Mekhi Parker.
